Mystical Diamond : Chapter-10

Hiranmaya summoned thousands of horse carts to push a single boulder weighing over 80 tonnes over the chamber containing the diamond on the top of the Vimana Tower at a height of 65 m above the majestic temple. It took around another hundred days under the gaze of the military undernewly crowned Emperor Hiranmaya for the said act. Kundavai watched with tears as men kept engaged tirelessly over restoring the pride of the Empire. The single boulder fitted nicely over the mystical diamond and stood radiantly as a crown over the majestic Vimana Tower. When the first rays of the sun kissed the temple, the temple went golden in color and no reflection of the sun fell on either side.

He got furious and stole the Diamond. With the Diamond, he orchestrated all the moves right from setting up Hiranmaya to enter a pact with Hiranya, ousted Krishnan Raman for the Empire, killed Valli Mayil and gained the confidence of the people of the Empire.  Once he gained power, he showed his true nature, crushed the Sinhala kingdom which was controlling the Empire and put Hiranya and Hiranmaya into imprisonment. Fiercely loyal to the Emperor Mutharaiyar, Krishnan Raman summoned his troops and waged a battle with Hiranya. A year passed by.  Valli Mayil gave birth to twins to the joy of Mutharaiyar.  He named them as Hiranya and Hiranmaya.  Kundavai took everything with grace.  She was only worried of her son Kulothunga who was getting wayward.  Hiranya was valorous and equipped with all sorts of training on warfare very much like his father Mutharaiyar.  He was also a good wrestler.  Hiranmaya imbibed all the qualities of his grandfather the Great Emperor Elangovathiarayan.  He listened to the stories of Lord Shiva and the spiritual journeys of Emperor Elangovathiarayan from the veteran Court Poet Bhalanetra

He could not have certainly made such preparations and felt that Mutharaiyar was right in leading the Army. He also felt that he needlessly ended over an argument over the Mystical Diamond. Mayuri was not amused, “What could be that wonderful story and why do you think that the Diamond does not fit into the story?  I think you are imagining things beyond your domain.” Vihaan laughed and patted her cheeks, “My instincts say that the artisans who were engaged in the creating of the marvels of the temple were not aware of this diamond, it seems to be not a part of their Plans.  It has some connection with the Himalayas and Mount Kailas.  The design of the chamber beneath the boulder is completely different from what lay around the walls of the temple and seemed to have been done by a different person or persons.”
