Fishbowl

We are the kings

in our well we call home

we fight with our siblings

live a twin life

for us and for others.

Outside our homes

we see a bigger well

everyone calls it a town

a village or a city

or the entire world.

Many are kings here

they fight with each other

our country versus theirs

all live a twin life

for us and for others.

As we look up the sky

we see the biggest well

we call it as universe

the stars and the planets

meteors fight with each other.

What goes beyond

We name the unknown as God

we pray to the Almighty

pit our Gods against the rest

for us and for others.

We loathe the ones

Richer than us

We close our eyes

To the ones naked yet

we pray for Abundance.

Are we truly the Kings?

Or slaves trapped in our well

The water in the well

is the same

for us and for others.
